This Scintex Diesel Transfer Gear Pump is suitable for the transfer of diesel, biodiesel and light fuel oils. For transferring heavier fuels or oils see our dedicated DC oil pump. These are well constructed and been sold for over 10 years. Excellent quality pumps with a multitude of uses and applications.

DC Gear Pump

These reliable, low cost gear pumps are great for a range of re-fueling requirements. Their brass pump casing and gears also makes them popular for fuel transfer in marine and boating applications. These pumps are supplied with 3/8″ barb fittings, however we can also supply fittings to suit a variety of different hose sizes.

Pump Features

• Self-priming pump for use in transferring diesels and light fuel oils. (Not suitable for petrol or heavy fuel oils).

These pumps are reversible, simply swap the electrical connections and the pump gears will run in reverse causing the fluid to change directions. This feature is useful if you’re transferring diesel between tanks.

It is recommended this pump be installed with a inline 20amp fuse as well as a suction strainer/filter.
